A popular buzzword of today is “Detoxification” or “Full body detox”. Detoxification is a process by which your full body removes toxins and rejuvenates your body to slow the aging process. The detoxification agent is known as detox.

What is the aging process?

Aging is the process by which someone looks older. It can be explained biologically as a time-related process by which the body starts losing its physiological functions. For example; we can check the average life expectancy of different regions. For South Asia, it is 68-71 years, For the European Union, it is 80.1 years, in the United Kingdom, the average life expectancy is 78.6 to 82.6 years long. A huge difference is noticed between South Asia to EU and the UK in case of a lifetime. It means the aging process is faster in South Asia relative to other regions, thus they get older at an early age and expire before other nations.

What is the cause of aging?

Oxidative damage due to toxins is the main cause of aging. Oxidative damage means the accumulation of free radicals in our body. For free radicals, our body cells lose their physiological function and cannot repair which we addressed in this article as rejuvenation. If we have any injury in childhood, our body can repair it by its mechanism but injury after middle age can be dangerous. When our body cannot rejuvenate cells, our skin also starts damaging, we start to have rough and dull skin, wrinkles, fine lines, and, other embarrassing signs that we want to hide from others.

The main catchword for slowing down aging is to become active and start a healthy diet. Sugar, salt, and oil produce toxins in our body. Toxin produces free radicals and free radicals cause aging. Most of the junk foods are made by these three elements. To remove these toxins, we need to detoxify ourselves. Detox is simply the free radicle scavengers. No need to rush here and there for detox. Nature has blessed us with detoxifying agents like seasonal fruits. Especially, lemon water, coconut water, Ice apple, watermelon, and beetroots are some fruits that can be considered as detox. These natural detoxes can scavenge free radicals and rejuvenate our skins by slowing down aging.
